She attended the University of Georgia and graduated in 2018 with a degree in Psychology with a History Minor. While there, she was on the Executive Board of the University of Georgia Undergraduate Mock Trial Program as the Recruitment and Social Chair. Erin, along with five other students, also founded the UGA Defender Advocate Society, a program whose mission was to advise students prosecuted by the UGA Student Judiciary and help them find legal representation for alleged conduct violations.
She went on to earn her Juris Doctor in 2021 from Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. During Law School Erin was a member of the mock trial team while also holding a leadership position on the Executive Moot Court Board as the Internals Competition Chair.
Erin also volunteered with ASU’s Undergraduate Mock Trial Program as an Assistance Coach between her 1L and 2L year. During her 3L year, Erin was one of five students selected to participate in the Public Defender Clinic with the Maricopa County Public Defender Office and represented several defendants during preliminary hearings, change of plea hearings, sentencings, as well as during a DUI trial.
